Romainville is a French commune in the Seine Saint Denis department in the Île de France region. It lies 3km east of Paris, at the eastern end of the Belleville hill. The city covers an area of 3.44km². With a population of 30,087 in 2019, its density is 8,746 inhabitants per km². The aim is to make the district more attractive and dynamic, by enhancing its openness to the Corniche des Forts and its proximity to the Ourcq Canal.
